You're welcome to pick pretty much any real world application, and I bet chrome will be ahead. Also, Chrome is the fastest in V8 by a huge margin, while similar or a tiny bit slower in other benchmarks like Kraken or SunSpider http://arewe

Chrome is the fastest where it really matters - javascript, and by a huge margin. Who cares if browser startup takes 3 or 6 seconds? I start my browser in the morning, and never close it. And who really cares if some browser eats 50% more R

Exactly. It's not that politicians must "save" the economy now. We must save ourselves from the politicians who created this mess.

Why do you think there's a problem with your landing page? It looks fine to me. I would change "Plans and Pricing" to "Pricing", just to make it simpler. And I would put them on a separate page. The audio in your main video sucks - both the

Never work for free. It increases the exploitation of less experienced developers, it drives salaries down. It's actually illegal in most states not to pay you at least the minimum wage. If you really can't find any jobs (which I find very

You need to normalize the results by population density. Pretty much anything I type, I get the same results - NY + LA + SF + London.

I use it from time to time. It's ok when you need to read something on the go, but it's not pleasant to use, and it renders like crap, often incorrectly. It's ok for reading HN.

95% decline in profits doesn't mean much, especially in a young company. It only means they spent much more that quarter than in the previous quarters. It's absolutely normal, if they are trying to grow or investing in their future.

There are tons of data sets out there, most are in a great shape, and trivial to parse. I guess maybe you need to provide some better examples of what your service will be. Now it all sounds like something I can do in Google Doc spreasheets

Most cloud hosting is a scam. It will never compare to the dedicated deals. You should only get cloud if you expect crazy traffic spikes and need to scale quickly. Cloud is easier to manage though, so you might save on the sysadmin costs.

You don't buy a physical server when you buy "dedicated". Dedicated means you rent a bare metal machine, not a virtualized one. It means you don't share it with anybody else.

Even then, unless you complete this project in 10 hours, it's not worth it. And by "complete" I mean completely done, no more back-and-forth, no more bug fixing, a complete sign-off. I almost never see it go perfectly like that, and that's
