At current P/E of 104 and earnings per share of $0.31, this stock can only go down. There's no reasonable justification that FB will start making 5X money any time soon. Current fair price: $6

I've done C++, Java (servlets and JSP), some Ruby, Perl. I keep using PHP, it's really not a bad language if you use it properly. I really wanted to try Python, I've heard many good things about it, but it's another one of those slow interp

True, but if the company is not really growing, how can you expect the future figures to go up? FB is really stuck, they have no fucking idea what to do with all the users. FB ads don't work. The only way FB will survive is if they start se

That's a meaningless statement. What you "think will happen in the future" is based on what you know about the company. And what we know now, doesn't look so good.

Yeah, but FB is not making good money even after they started posting ads.

I really don't get why FB is valued that much. If you look at their revenues, net income, quarter-to-quarter growth, the stock should be at $5.50. Seriously, look at GOOG, compare it to FB. You must be insane to buy FB.

Solution: stop taking requests from people. Tell them to file tickets, and your boss will have to prioritize them.

I think a better analogy is a web browser. There are many versions, many resolutions, but they all roughly support the same API, while modern browsers have more features.

Implementing old inefficient technological metaphors using new technology is a MAJOR fail. It's pretty, but utterly useless.

While useful, there are a few implications 1) security a) I won't trust you with my API keys b) If you get hacked, ANY javascript can be executed on my pages 2) scalability - how much traffics can you handle? 3) I can implement

It looks like you need a clear plan, and stick with it. Weekly meetings are not there to change the plan, they are there to make minor adjustments, resolve the roadblocks and discuss progress and strategies. If you believe in your main idea

Alternative way is to surround yourself with cardboard (the thick brown box type). It really helps eliminate most outside noises and reduce the echo.

The company is making 10 billion in revenues PER QUARTER. I don't think they give a shit about $10M.

How is it a pitch to buy? If anything, it's a pitch NOT to buy. $1 billion/quarter revenue (and $210M profits) doesn't justify the $100 billion valuation. Not even close. Consider Google, valued at $200B has a revenue of $10.6 billion/quart

That's not true. Linking to jQuery stuff on Google's CDN is widely accepted. If you're using Noscript, don't act surprised when modern javascript websites break for you.

So what's the total cost? - What's the cheapest Arduino board that would work with this sensor? Wouldn't it be cheaper to get a Raspberry Pi? - How much is the power supply? - It would also be cool if there was a way to send SMS over the re
