It depends where you live. In Seattle, I agree, what's the point. In other parts of the USA and world, they are very much perused, enforced and law enforcement likes the proof.

This also is revealing - maybe it is time to create a blog after all. Many people do give up on computer problems if they take longer than a few minutes to solve, or do not want to spend time piecing together fragments together, domain, hos

Tons, the book "Algorithms to live by" go head first into this - https://www.amazon.com/Algorithms-Live-Computer-Science-Deci... It can sound a bit simple at first, but the human - algo stories are terrific.

I hate them 100%. I think they're worthless, and ruin the experience. You're paying money for a curated experience and put trust into a company that promises high, but can deliver low. So you can work remote? Great! Why give up so

Hearing alcohol addiction, it seems so "unreal" in the sense that, I can see it as a problem but I always feel it can't be that hard. I think alcohol, tastes disgusting in general. It's fun to mix with other things to ha

What apple has for sale, newest, more ram/ssd and that's it. It sounds obtuse, but, I enjoy selling my macbooks at 60-75% of purchase price 3-4 years later, and if needbe, applecare - which itself, is outrageous but it's nice

I disagree (again) because knowing something sells for a lower amount in X but sells for higher in Y is classical information arbitrage and opportunity cost.

While I agree these are "wealth creation" mechanisms, what the blog describes is market (economy) inefficiencies that enable arbitrage. So by spotting an inefficiency and exploiting it, you profit. tl;dr explore and exploit.

I just don't understand why people aren't thinking of doing this in other countries. You can hire a nurse for $500-1000 in most of South America or Asia - East Europe 50/50, but an au pair for elderly.

Disagree, F150 is more for fleet, labor, handyman, "serious" work. The cybertruck looks cool, but it lacks many features that are needed for daily usage for an actual laborer/worker. Not at all bad, but working on the field,
