"I have looked at exactly that. The rate at which guns are used lawfully far outstrips the number of times they are not. As such, their benefit to society is easily a net positive." This Harvard study doesn't think so: http://www.hsph.ha

I did read it. Ultimately, you have to look at the purpose of certain tools and their net effect on society. I respect the debate and will leave you with these last few resources: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/gavin-magrath/gun-control-deb

If your whole argument rests on the words of a constitution, I don't know what to tell you. I still stand by my argument and have provided several sources in doing so.

Then why doesn't the NRA support most of its members when the vast majority of them want background checks on all gun sales? http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/the-fix/wp/2013/01/31/nr...

Yea, the pros of sem-automatic rifle regulation has to be weighed against the extent of tragedies they enable. Do the pros of another firearm really out-weigh the pain they enable?

I'm American and the truth is we don't need automatic rifles, but there is a very strong history of firearms in this country and thus a very strong supportive lobbying group behind it fighting to strike down anything which has potential to

Oh hey look, another dick joke on a t-shirt promoting programming to the masses. How funny, right? Hur, hur, hur. At this point, I don't know what's more of a joke, this type of marketing or the joke itself.

I don't know what point you're trying to make here but it's lost on me. Are you trying to imply that it's a good idea for North Korea to have nuclear weapons? That it avoids misery in some way? That's pathological. Nope. This is pathologi

Interesting logic. The government is willing to go to war to obstruct Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, yet not when North Korea is actually testing and threatening to "target" the U.S.: http://www.nytimes.com/2013/01/25/world/asia/nort

People are inherently critical. Maybe it's some evolutionary effect for human survival, but either way we're all prey. No one is going to agree with you on 100% of the issues, 100% of the time. That's not how the world works. All of us have
