It all doesn't quite work well enough to justify all the new tech. My 7 year old car is pretty good, it has a small 8 inch screen which does car play/android auto and has nice buttons and dials for all controls. No distractions!

I like the term "bullshit" over "hallucination". These AI machines have no perceptions, no concept of truth, so indeed they are just spewing out words with no regard for truth. And unfortunately the cost of spreading bul

Some people are using rust in embedded, but I would estimate that 95-99% of embedded is still C/C++. If you want to get into firmware, I'd recommend focusing on C instead and learn things like RTOS. Someday rust might be more popu

Behind the Bastards is a great podcast. I think they did a good job bringing this guy's viewpoints to the forefront here, and explaining the context.

There are some tools that read your screen and can provide hints and solutions for coding type questions. I honestly don't trust myself to not mess it up, plus the whole ethics side of it, but I'm sure that will always be a proble

I think it may be unfair to pin each of those factors individually on the crash, but I do believe that collectively when you have an administration reaking havoc and chaos across all federal agencies, things are gonna happen.

I think it is definitely possible if you are smart and motivated. This is my career path that worked for me - - Started out at a small research organization after college. The pay was very low but I got to have a lot of autonomy and own in

There are a few other benefit to copper fills as well - it makes routing power much easier, it separates analog and digital regions of a PCB, and it helps with heat dissipation. I do agree that just because you have a fill, that doesn'
