The batteries used have come a long way! They can deliver high peak current which corresponds to high torque. Lifetime is also better. That combined with better brushless motors and controllers means that these tools are way better overall.

I thought the article did a good job addressing it. There were a lot of nice touches which make this app work well with the vision pro.

Meta likes to call quest 3 "mixed reality" since AR is generally defined as adding images to the existing light going into your eyes. I just feel like the technical challenges of AR are much larger than people give it credit for -

The Sense system is great for this, gives you second level data, and identifies most appliances when they turn on. I enjoy using it!

Aren't they just providing access to their service? Different companies provide different billing methods and that's fine! For example you could pay $20/month for ChatGPT and use it as much or little as you like, or pay $

I'm sure there are some incremental improvements which could be made, but as you said this thing overall is a flying heavy brick and so overall there's only so much you could do.

Yikes! This an unusual exploit since it both has an absolutely massive impact (literally access to everything on SharePoint and Outlook??), with a relatively straightforward vector (just looking at client side JavaScript). One nit: I'd

Minivans are super hard to buy right now - although demand probably isn't too high the supply is extremely limited. A minivan would be too big for my family's daily needs, but I love renting them for road trips. Even the older dod

Having worked at these large companies, I can almost guarantee that what happened was something unintentional or silly versus nefarious. The number of privacy reviews to add a data collection around bans would be astronomical and I would fe

Yup I see my son enjoying time on the tablet and teaching himself scratch which is great... But it clearly has an effect on his emotional state and overall quality of life if he spends too much time on it. We try and keep things balanced -

I think a better approach is to be prepared to read the documentation a few times. For me, the first time I mostly glance through and see the entire scope of things. I normally need to work with things at least a little bit first to really

This is interesting! I like how unit tests are easier with Zig. The approach I am more familiar with is using Google test and C++ to test C code. It's pretty easy if you already have a cmake project set up, and most C developers can wr
