You can fire your realtor, and you should if they are a jerk or unresponsive. Like you say, they get a lot of money.

You think I paid $100k in realtor fees???

Probably some, sure. But also I can see things being much worse in other systems. Like, figure the haircut you take bringing your car to a dealership...

They each get $10k - buyer and seller. For very expensive homes realtors will often "take a hit" to secure a sale.

It is the crux of the issue, alongside bodily autonomy of the woman, which is important. No serious, mature pro-life people pretend that abortion is a simple thing. People very much so understand the gravity of it.

Well, you're paying TWO realtors. Buyer and seller, so it's really half that. But yeah, I would say $10k is a pretty sweet deal in a lot of cases.

Lots of people hating on realtors here, but my buying realtor: - Put up with me through several offers that fell through due to issues with the house - Met me quickly several times to see houses in a very hot market (covid) - Constantly fou

They are free to invite who they want, but someone pointed out here a great example: can you find many examples of pro-war speakers at college in the 60s? Probably not :)

The issue today is it is rare that these speakers are operating in good faith. It's painfully obvious to many that many "controversial" speakers on both sides of the political aisle are only intentionally being controversial,

I think the issue divides when you cross the line from "personal belief" to "this personal belief should be a law." Imagine forced abortions - wouldn't that be insane? Some see forcing a woman to have a baby to be e

I have two issues with this: first, not wanting certain people on your college campus giving speeches, where you go to learn in a comfortable environment, doesn't mean you don't support free speech, it means you don't want th

"Freedom of speech" is not "equity of speech" - I think this is all OP is trying to say, and I agree with it.

Correct, free speech doesn't mean you should give everyone a free platform, especially at a school that you pay to attend!

Don't buy frozen fillets if they cost too much. Buy chicken, or whatever. I'm not saying you need to eat worse food, I'm saying prices of things fluctuate, and not everyone's grocery bill looks like yours. Being realisti

How is it gamed? Can you show your receipt from a year ago where your food bill was that much less? CPI does include food, fuel, and housing costs (though housing lags very significantly for a few reasons).
