This is the same argument as "don't complain, someone has it worse" and it's a flawed one.

Having any serious issues with a few years old car is a problem. Id consider that a lemon. If you've had that experience multiple times from the same manufacturer...

Right? It's remarkable seeing people here defending Tesla while saying "I've only had a few major issues in four years" I've had a Hyundai for ten years and literally crashed it into a tree and it had no major issue

It can make logical sense, in game theory. For example, you can have two situations: A) thing A is the most beneficial thing for person A to do B) thing A benefits person B way more than person A These are not mutually exclusive. I'm n

I agree with you, for the most part. It's not a simple answer as you seem to be hinting but I agree with your principals. How I phrased it emphasized that the US benefits the most from this scenario, so please don't twist my words

It's funny in a way: because the US spends so much on its military, its allies do not have to. This of course is an enormous benefit to the US: but it's a great way for allies of the US to prosper under the might of the US militar

When you're a public figure, you hopefully do not have those issues. Any isolation or ignorance is a choice you're making. The author is very obviously not talking about people who are in a cult, or even the average person on Face

> Thinking that people you perceive as "privileged" can't comprehend you is a choice too and a form of ignorance. You've kinda proven their point with this statement, no?

> I think you do see diminishing returns going above $1000 for burr grinders. This is absolutely correct: the best "value" is a $200-300 hand grinder. Anything more than that you're adding quality of life (mostly), and som

This isn't true in the high-end coffee community. No one uses ceramic burrs, and they are generally considered to produce worse coffee than other burrs.

That's fine for a dark roast, but a lighter roast will sometimes need 2-3 weeks. Or more!

It depends a lot on the grinder. On some of my grinders this is true, on others its "bad to awful" from the light to dark roast categories. Also remember, one man's "light roast" is another's dark roast. I cons

I don't think there is one right answer - for a normal morning brew (15-20g of beans) 2 spritz out of one of those small spray bottles should be in range. Two spritz, then shake the beans up (like in a cup), and grind as normal. You ma

He says "just a spritz" and it is true that just one spritz does help, but in the paper there was quite a bit of water applied - probably more like 3-4 spritz of water.

There has to be some middle here, where you're not pro-killing Jews, but you're against Zionism. If that middle isn't anti-zionism, what is the middle position?

That doesn't support your argument whatsoever. Generally the safest cars are the cars that break quickly. They absorb energy through breaking.

And you'll pay a lot more in taxes to maintain the roads: "an increase in axle weight from 18,000 pounds to 20,000 pounds causes 50 percent more damage to the pavement." See: https://highways.dot.gov/public-ro
