It causes incremental demand for H1-B visas from H-4 dependents whose specialized skills were not sufficient to warrant an issuance of an H1-B visa in the first place. This could be happening at the expense of more qualified H1-B candidates

You can't, but you can search for a job with an employer who would be willing to sponsor an H1-B. Being in the country makes it much easier.

Enjoyed reading the article. More specific and practical than far-reaching Kurzweilian forecasts. I also liked that each paragraph provided links to associated data sources, e.g. crash stats, convenience store sales etc.

This is a great find, browsed thru a 1932 issue and it was like traveling on a time machine. 2^6 + 2 cover pages. Passes the numerology test too. Makes me want to travel to North Korea for live footage of the same theme.

What this article fails to emphasize and report on is the amount of settlement payments and related legal expenses produced by cases filed with the EDT court. I wouldn't be surprised if they would dwarf whatever remedies are awarded by

A much harder thing for adults is to re-learn something they already know in a different way. For example, I thought I knew how to swim until I took private lessons with an instructor. I spent most of the time 'unlearning' the wro

Take a look at the chart titled "Market-Based Inflation Expectations". What's the rationale for selecting the 19% and 24% percentiles. I assume these are percentiles of all values of the underlying metric recorded throughout

I recall going on a 3-day course to a marine officer training camp somewhere in VA. There was a obstacle course which was hard, i.e. you had to swim in cold muddy waters (October time), climb fences, dig trenches etc. 80% of teams finished

The 40% discount is not really a discount for existing customers. It's a discount for an annual commitment, it seems.

The traditional channels between the U.S. and Russia for pushing back against each other are evidently not working. What's remaining is doing the same thing, over and over again expecting different results.
