I am fortunate to be in a position where I get to take on the role of "blame sponge" in product management. You can get a shocking amount of attention if you don't shy away from diving into taking responsibility for the outco

I have always been fascinated by how better to communicate ideas. I swear 90% of the brilliant Ideas I have seen go to waste because the idea wasn't convincingly presented. It drives me insane when I know exec teams will ignore things

I took the long road after graduating with a mechanical engineering degree in 2012 and working in industry. I quickly realized that engineering often meant executing and not strategizing, which frustrated me to no end. I learned that being

I have used syncthing + marktext[0] and or ghostwriter[1] depending on the content of my notes. For a daily journal I like to use ghostwriter as it has almost no distraction and it forces me to focus. It just got shifted over to being main

I've never much enjoyed "intelligence" as a way to box groups of people. Everybody knows something I don't, can do things I cannot, solves problems in ways I would not think to. I would not call a math professor who does

Syncthing and your favorite text editor has been great for me. Setup is fairly easy and you depend on no offical service other than people hosting a relay server which you could also host. A little more setup and DIY, but at least the exper

Not awful, though the lack of USB pass-through makes for a challenge. You need to make sure to rune your QEMU with at least 8G ram or it is pretty bad. Good enough to build with anyways.

Just ran into this yesterday. What a great solution! I now have WSL2 running graphical linux apps and got a nested VM running with Mojave so I can run osx with macOS-Simple-KVM. I can finally cross compile in a way no one should.

Honestly this is probably because other businesses started doing it. When businesses have no clue they look to the market for the "standard" way of doing things. We don't make mechanical engineers design mechanical solutions
