Had no idea what this was. Clicked link. Within one minute I figured out what Density is. Nice job on the landing page! IMO, this is the strongest section: http://www.density.io/#comparison

That's a very good point. Maybe a more accurate statement is "any page that could potentially drive a sale has been A/B tested to death."

Agreed, and I'm glad companies like Amazon with deep pockets are deciding to jump into the pool with github, as adoption of these competing products are probably going to be very slow short of some sort of event like what happened with

I agree it doesn't look great, but I assure you they have A/B tested the shit out of every page they have ever rendered. Aesthetics aside, I am sure there is a justifible reason they do everything in their UIs.

Haha... I don't think you're being too blunt. Why does anyone ever do something new? Curiosity? Maybe I just feel like there can be something gained by learning a slightly different way of doing the same thing?

Fun read, though it seems that either React is almost always the better choice over Angular 1.*, or this author just prefers React over Angular. I'm thinking the latter is the more likely of the two, but consider my interest piqued. I

That makes sense. I guess I just assumed that the pattern would be more like this: 1.) See headline 2.) If the user enjoyed the read, they click upvote 3.) (Maybe) comment What you are suggesting is that it's more like this: 1.) See he

This is off-topic, but how is it that this is the top story on HN right now with zero discussion (assuming that by the time I click "add comment" I am the first to comment). Is it dumb to assume that it's normal for upvotes a

Cool! Forgive me, but what is the advantage of buying Github enterprise and then having it hosted in Azure? I was under the impression that most enterprise customers were interested in self hosting.

Nice list! Good balance of humor and practicality. I especially enjoyed this one: "If you end up pitching to someone over coffee, ask to hear their pitch afterwards." A nice thought, as a lot of people view networking only through

Republicans aren't wrong in thinking that there are people out there abusing the system. The question is, though, how much should we care? Food stamps help a lot of people.

Could you expand a little on how Amazon does stack ranking in a more palatable way? As a consumer, I love Amazon, but I have heard a lot of horror stories first-hand from an Amazon employee about this very thing.
