This is cool, though not having the standard library would be painful. Hopefully, there is some middle ground than jettisoning the entire std crate.

Both my workplace and the one big open source project I use homeassistant all use python 3. Do you have any data to backup python 3 adoption being a failure? I know it was certainly painful for many years. As a python 3 user everything see

I have found the split has only gotten better with time. It used to be most package maintainers assumed you were using nightly/beta. The last holdouts I see are diesel and serde which have instructions for using nightly. Even then they

Given my experience with rust I imagine a rust specific framework would probably be the best. I imagine something like react/flux would play nicely with ownership and borrowing. Cool to see its possible to do objective c without everyt

I understanding the right blend of what people think they want and what they need is a powerful thing. I imagine it varies based on the problem domain/market.

I didn't know they were bad at peaking but that makes sense. The way I understood nuclear plants is they are enormous capital expenses and thus a utility is going to shy away from them because of that. I wonder how much they compare to

My wife is in vet school and when I learned all of what you describe from her I have been phasing out dairy as best as I can. Still can't kick the butter cheese and icecream though :(

I felt the same way until I had the following problem: 1. By subscribing to something that always had good content I missed quite a bit from occasional interesting posts on other feeds. 2. Subscribed to those occasionally good feeds. Now I

It would be good to know if this is the geforce experience of the actual driver, and what exactly its doing. The article seems to be light on details.

You can go to their website and install the normal driver. It installs the nvidia control panel which also has an update checker. If I had known I could just be using this I would have never installed that monstrosity.

Learning to this both after writing the code and being able to plan what chunks of works I do when is a game changer and really useful when you work on a team. I sometimes find waiting until I am done working on something to break it up int

We also use a bootstrapping view for our single page app. It sounds like your application is multiple pages or make a request for every "page"? The nice thing about react router and client side routing is you can have a very clean

I feel like the best way to do this is to just use cornice or DRF then use js scaffolding that is completely unaware of your backend. No need to join them at the hip like this, except maybe for the token based auth?

Or loading the plane back to front, no exception, though I suppose with #3 it might not matter. The zone system and the way most airport terminals are designed make queueing and getting on the plane a horrendous cluster fsck. Airports remin

I suppose there are many aspects in regards to aging. The concept of young vs old I suppose is a strange cognitive shortcut to apply when what you really care about is fitness at a particular activity. All the more reason to dispense with i

I got a 2-year degree from a community college and then went to a cheaper university for CS. I would recommend it, especially if your grades are not the best or you don't have a ton of money. My wife, on the other hand, is in another b

Wasn't really able to follow the bit about traits but: It seems like if you want to have back-references you either would need to use Rc<RefCell<T>> or Arcs, which is not the end of the world. The best way to do it would be

I think there are other IP/routing reasons why an IP packet could get dropped for example if it needs fragmenting but has the no fragment bit set. Also if the TTL runs out from the packet being forwarded too many times. I imagine all t

The best way forward seems to be to continue to fund these existing JITs. Maybe once one is ready it can replace cpython. Also pypy not supporting the latest python 3.5 is kind of a big deal for adoption. I would rather have 3.5 support tha

It would be cool to hook this up to various input devices like midi controller or some kind of range finder. It would be nice if there was an easy to use frontend that did kind of what puredata and gnu radio does but could also make shaders
