Sure, but I believe that Adobe didn't really want anyone to clone flash (at least not in the early days). If this was the goal from the outset the DRM parts could be described in the same way the HTML5 ones are being.

The problem is a normal plugin doesn't allow a browser vendor to write their own version. (iPhone + Flash for example). Perhaps a plugin standard and API would solve it, then a vendor can build their own plugin (Apple) and allow others

Perhaps you should only be allowed to give an app a 1 star review if you delete it. Re-installing it should remove your review.

It makes me wonder why they don't just show a much higher quality and perhaps smaller file size video, and then overlay links etc over the top based on keyframes. I guess it comes down to fashion and at the moment these animated scroll

Why do you assume it's hardware. I imagine the hardware to send the signal is already there, they just need to add some software to proxy it to https://goodies.nsa.gov If they are building the ground station tech, then ther

What's the difference between this and a video. Given that most cameras nowadays record video this seems rather pointless. Only advantage I can think of is that you can normally record higher quality images with stills vs video.

True, but we have SSD's now and they take ages, plus we have more ram that 1000's of those cartridges combined. I think the leap to disks was due to the need for space (sound especially) and loading came as a cost. Perhaps the nex

I find it a lot easier to press the xbox button than say, "Xbox.... Go Home". Perhaps for things like "Xbox record that" but most stuff I think the voice commands are a novelty.

My point is that's because they were basic. Also there has been an evolution of games that have lead to games accepting loading times. If we didn't developers would find ways to get rid of them. As it is there isn't enough in

Knowing you can plug a PC into a TV isn't something most people know about. You need special graphics cards or adapters and have to deal with weird resolutions and oversized images. Consoles just work...

Plugging a PC into a TV has always been a faf, may not be now, but perhaps that leads onto the marketing factor.

I would say: - Low barrier to entry / technical know how. - Future proofing, a next gen console will probably still be running the latest games in 7 years time. - Level playing field. All gamers online have the same input devices, hard

I expect even past gen consoles could run SNES games without loading times. Loading times are the price you play for advancements in other areas.

I know people say things like this, but how much of it is true and how much is perception. For example on an old phone the chances are you are still using the latest versions of apps, which are now coded for faster models. So trying them on

Do you have any proof of this. Normally the old handsets get updates missing the more performance intensive features in order to keep them speedy. Perhaps you are just noticing the difference between a phone with a processor 1/4th the
