I'm not sure how anybody other than LinkedIn knows what they report but in any event I never said they did. This practice leads registered users to attempt to connect with people who are not using LinkedIn. In effect, LinkedIn uses it

The irony wasn't missed. It was just the first place that sprung to mind to write at length on the topic.

Completely agree. I don't actually remember doing it and it's certainly something I do not do any more. I wasn't quite so security-conscious a few years ago.

I tend to keep abreast of tech-related news and had not seen anything outlining this sort of behaviour. For me, the fact that they so blatantly suggest that people have a LinkedIn account when they don't is appalling. As I noted in my

I agree. I got to the first "stupid cow" and stopped reading. The writer lost any empathy I had for them at that point. The response to any form of discrimination or harassment is not name-calling.

Just an FYI, your layout has about 10% white space on the right hand side when viewed on iPad mini. Caused by the card fan lower down the page.

I'd be interested to know about the distinction between US and UK copyright here. In the UK, copyright will only vest in something if it is an "original work"[1]. Taking LayerVault's claim, there are only so many ways one can represent a "s

The original statement is generally correct. Employee handbooks don't have contractual status (i.e. they can be amended at the company's discretion) but do have legal status insofar as employee's will be expected and, in most cases be co

Agreed. Over the last year, Apple's share price has swung widely from $363.32 to $705.07. Surely a more accurate statement would be that the share price has increased dramatically. Swung widely implies ups and downs. The current dip is

You can search across all sports - just don't select one. Choose a from date and to date and search. Agree with the rest of your comments. The "currently unavailable" and "these are not currently on sale" are particularly disappointing.

The marketing page really needs to be changed to make it clear that it doesn't automatically gather email addresses. I can see the benefits of the pitch that people only need to text the codeword but you could presumably extend the service

For a company that goes on about transparency and clear speaking etc., the answer to the second question you've quoted is appalling. It doesn't answer the question at all. It should be: Will you continue to improve Classic? No. We will fix

This is a great idea too. One of the UK providers does a good job of this using technology they call FastDraft. Plugs in to Companies House to get company data for the parties to the agreement; allows you to specify how you want non-compete

Can we also add to the list, "The removal of your email address may take up to 7 days". Unless you store your marketing lists on paper in your bank's vault, there is no reason it should take this long to remove me. I don't care if you're us
