I really like this, and I'm excited about the fact this was apparently developed "in house" rather than by some speculative design firm. Obviously it needs work, and a few design elements/features need tweaking - but it's a massive step in

In fairness, I thought he did a pretty good job. Better than I would have expected for a CEO :D and some of the audience questions were pretty good too. I suspect he won't be going after Jimmy Fallon's job in 2020, though.

Thanks for posting the instructions. After doing this, it's easy to see that the tracking data is way off base quite a lot. And interestingly, places I visit a lot but never use my location for it has very few data points for. In fact, ther

I wonder if the non-owners think that it's merely a case of those who did buy one trying to justify their purchase. Those of us with one know that really isn't the case, but of course it's hard to convince someone to spend that much money o

I did the same with my late-2008 MBP. First time I don't feel that I need to upgrade 2 and a half years later. Hell, it's the first time I didn't want to upgrade after that long.

Isnt there a danger that someone else working on your code might not respect that rule (or dare I say it, but maybe you're in a rush one day) and you don't update the comment when you update the class. Now you've got comments saying in corr

The popularity of apps like hipstamatic, instagram etc. has somewhat mitigated the desperate need for high quality on these devices. If not in all demographics, i'd hazard a guess in those that would otherwise be most vocal about it.

I like the idea of the proxy, why not have it so you do a direct link and gumroad takes a small percentage (1%?), and if you want it proxied gumroad takes a bigger percentage (5%-10%)?

This is a really great idea... I'd love to see an RSS feed with each days albums with a simple format something like; <artist> <albumname> <spotifylink> I'm not sure how good the Spotify API is, but could you not als

You only really need to take credit for the work, I took from the article that you don't actually need to be very good. I for one am blending a bit of both. From a lower-middle class background and being content to be less than average at m

I desperately hope that Apple make the home screen (along with better notifications) the primary focus of iOS 5. I first saw this very concept a while back now, and still think it looks amazing. I was under the impression you could get it v

I have Limechat on Mac & iPhone, which both connect to znc - so I'm "always connected". If someone mentions my name while I'm logged into znc, then znc-notifo pushes a message to notifo (which lets all my devices know. I'm pretty happy

US only strikes me as a weird condition, and taking the CC card to check seems suspicious to me. It's also a bit disappointing as I'm in the UK.

I believe (though am likely wrong) that the *correction format originated in IRC, where you can't edit text once you've sent it... though I now see s/wrd/word/ quite often too - but that's mainly in technical rooms.

Early adopters influence initial take up. Tumblr is way beyond this now. Once it's reached the high school kids, then it can't really be called "early" any more. They'll only move on once the service is no longer seen as cool, and the early
