I am not a fan of the text for the $5 plan, 300 searches per month, saying “Includes enough searches for 99% of internet users” when the average user who signs up for their service seems to be using 600 searches per month.

I found myself mildly annoyed that the author calls QWERTY the “first row” of letters not the “top row”. If there was a “first”, I might nominate ZXCVBNM. Is QWERTY commonly known as the “first row”?

6 x 1000 token calls per day, for a news bot (listed use case at application). I think what happened is the azure subscription was converted from a (multi year) promotional subsidy/discount to a full pay as you go subscription. No chan

I agree with your points. Having said that, Microsoft removed my Azure OpenAI GPT-4 access last week without warning. I was not breaking any TOS. Oh well, pointed back at OpenAi.

While interesting, very little of the content is Late Roman. Hard to see why it was tagged as such.

Spatial flux studies show they are a little more likely to hit the equatorial rather than polar regions due to the elliptic distribution of the source material. https://ukantarcticmeteorites.wordpress.com/2020/04/3

At least in my field, it would be an absolute complete irrelevance. You’ve said 2 years here. What sort of gap wouldn’t be a factor to you? 3mo? 9mo?

Note that the Azure endpoint is not being sunsetted until July 5th, 2024. One supposes openai has a 6 month notice period vs a 12 month period for azure. This might generally effect one’s appetite in choosing which endpoint to use for any m

Atlas Shrugged had a profound influence on me, too. It is a treatise on selfishness. A stench of arrogance leaks out from every paragraph. It showed me the worst of the worst. What not to be. I like to think reading it made me a more empath

I love going to the movies alone or a restaurant alone. Sometimes when I have half a day without family around these are exactly the activities that I choose to undertake. It’s not rare.

LOCATE international work with the podcast The Missing. They covered this case in episode 27, should you be intrigued by the article. I find the podcast very touching. https://www.themissingpodcast.org/episodes

I’ve been using GPT-4 to help with some complex pandas work, and it’s been an excellent assistant. That said, I don’t get this product. Using query as code is no help at all. Integrating GPT into jupyter might be useful - I’m sure it’s been

Exactly. When I realised a $4 coffee is actually $14 dollars in todays money if I put it in a boring index tracker and leave it 30 years until I’d need to spend it, that was a massive mental switch in my head. I’m always aware of balancing

I mean the word “understand” is problematic. Machine and human understanding may be different but the word is applied to both. Does an XOR circuit “understand” what it is doing? I venture the word is inappropriate when applied to non-human

A lot of cheating is about time not difficulty. Rather than spend several evenings practising they partied instead, perhaps justifying cheating by deeming the exam topic an irrelevance. One of the takeaways here should be for the exam sette
