I believe that to be a coincidence. They have been performing upgrades for a while now. (Increased hard drive space, increased CPU, and finally increased ram.) I think it was just an unfortunately timed third phase of their upgrade plan.

My father works with the guy (or did before he retired) and he's cool with us putting up a tower if we want. Unfortunately, line of site is iffy due to the tree coverage on that end of the property. There is a company here that does fiber

I have. I popped back into into the middle of nowhere to help take care of some family things. Fortunately and unfortunately, I landed a programming gig while here with a great company. The pay is not market rate but I love the company and

I can pretty confidently say I am the best programmer at my current company. Granted, I'm the only programmer... but still. :) Actually, I hate being the only programmer. I love my job. I love what I do. But if you're the only person th

I don't think its bias. I cannot get DSL, CABLE, Fiber-anything... My choices are: Dialup, Satellite, or wireless internet. I can get 3G cell coverage -- sometimes. My street does have cable television, they just refuse to service the area

I was pretty impressed with the 12 hours of non-stop youtube readings. Dedication.

I have done something similar before but also measured which content was being consumed. Are they readers, listeners, or watchers? Eventually, you can pretty easily detect the best way to approach each potential client from a marketing pers

Same here. I just flipped the switch to send things from an internal server, bypassing SG for now.

Looks like the final attempt ended up going through just as registration closed. Confirmation e-mail received.

Same here. Got a "ticket" 6 different times and had wallet failures til timeout. A friend of mine got his, though. I am no longer speaking to him. :)

I'm getting registration closed messages now. 6 instances of getting a ticket slot and having wallet time out. Disappointed.

From what I understand with talking to a few folks, they're released in batches of 100 or so every few minutes. So, in theory, it's possible to "run out of tickets" only to have another batch of them be released in the system a few minutes

It's amusing how things like that can happen. I felt like I was spinning my wheels on a problem with a project -- consisting of treating each viewing of a video in a 24 hour period as separate orders for statistical purposes -- yet not clu
