I really like NextDNS. But right now, I'm pointed to Cloudflare Gateway servers.

I don't see anything in the Gateway docs that make it look like anything but DNS service: https://developers.cloudflare.com/gateway/about Can you point to something more?

If you're not interested in running this yourself, NextDNS is worth a look. Not affiliated with them, just like their service.

Is it something you could build/deploy as a Cloudflare Worker?

WARP has never claimed to hide your IP. In fact, they literally explained that it didn't in their announcement: https://blog.cloudflare.com/announcing-warp-plus/ "WARP is not designed to allow you to access g

Sure, it depends on your definition if "offline". My guess is that most people asking for an "offline" password manager are not actually offline much of the time, but specific use cases may vary! Keepass is nice, it'

Bingo. I went without TV/movies for years because I didn't want to consume them they way they were made available. Thankfully, streaming became a thing and I happily pay for various subscriptions. I have canceled my HBO subscripti

I like DNS Made Easy. I've used them for probably more than a decade now. Never had any issues. Insanely cheap compared to the competitors I've looked at from time to time.

Argo is kind of an overloaded term... Argo (not tunneling) is better routing from the edge, which can have a measurable impact on performance. Argo (tunneling) can also impact performance in a positive way but it is also a nice way to secur

Yup, I am emailed my account rep about Argo tunnels being down and the status page not really reflecting that issue... which is much larger than the dashboard being offline or APIs not working, IMHO.

You're saying you have this issue with NextDNS? I've been using it since it was mentioned here, as well, and have had zero issues that were not self-created. FWIW.

NextDNS is great. I have tried various DNS services -- OpenDNS, Cleanbrowsing, Cloudflare Gateway, Quad9, etc and I keep coming back to NextDNS. Would definitely recommend giving it a try if you're looking for a solid DNS-based securit

Interesting. I own a '92 NSX and it is a highway monster. I can and have done 13+ hours in a day in it and could easily have gone longer. I'm not the only one that feels this way, either; I constantly hear from other owners that i

I've run stuff there for years and never had an issue. I have been transitioning stuff to Digital Ocean, but really only because I like that they have an actual firewall that I can control. Also been moving more stuff to AWS. But, back

These things happen to computers. You should have been taking backups. Any data loss is on you. Seems like Linode responded reasonably, in my opinion. I would react by rebuilding my server(s) and restoring the backed up data.

Ah, yes, stupid blackouts. I'm not sure this is going to fix things for you, but I haven't tried it, either. A VPN might be more effective, though I suspect they're on to that these days. Personally, I just picked a different

It makes it very hard to control your network. I have a DNS setup at home that I want all my equipment using. It blocks ads and other sites I don't want accessed. With DoH, I can't really be sure that browsers, devices, etc aren&#

Tipping is dumb. I should not have to concern myself with how other people are paid. It's not my problem nor is it something I want to think about while simply trying to exchange money for goods or services.
