"They're the Perez Hilton of tech journalism." Thank you, good sir. That just made my day. I will have to use that one in the future. On topic: Fragmentation doesn't always mean the end of the world. A lot of people could not spot the di

(Personally) I don't consider troll comment to be a spam comment, but it's annoying all the same.

Well said. I agree. I work in a 99% Windows IT shop, therefore Windows is the OS that will help me get the most work done in the shortest amount of time. I run Fedora and FreeBSD virtual machines in my spare time, but for most of the day

I'm wondering how many down votes I would get for suggesting Bing as an alternative to search.

This is why SOPA/PIPA shouldn't exist. People aren't criminals. I wish the corporate sponsors of these bills would open their eyes and see this.

I've been watching this for a little while. With powershell, a lot of the *nix commands have been or can be aliased to the windows commands (e.g. ls and Get-ChildItem). Judging from his notes so far, he isn't taking advantage of this, b

Some of the tools are free and some are not. Also, some are open source, and others are proprietary. I'm sure he has his favorites, but others will certainly prioritize differently; either with their wallets or their ideologies.

I just looked at this. Most of the messages in the 'Other' section are things I probably would have ignored anyway. I did find a five year old message that slipped past me. I was looking for a good python book and this guy recommended Di

I would much rather see Apple implement NFC in their phones before patenting what you do with it later on. There is so much potential for NFC, but we only have a handful of phones that support it at the moment.

No, I (obviously) can't download a car. Apparently, I can't send a file to someone else and remove it from my iPod, Galaxy S, Blackberry, office and home pc either.

I like this. However, I'm wondering if including all the common and local names of a country would become too cumbersome during implementation over time.

I was under the impression that they wanted to transition to Windows Phone or Android. Anything to help them become/stay competitive in the mobile space.

I'm actually interested in getting this based solely on the fact that it is a Razr. I've been dogging Android lately, but I've always had a soft spot for Razr's. The only other thing I would like to see is a detailed tear down of this new
