As someone who is pretty active in the health/fitness community I HATE n=1 studies like this that get so much press. All this does is give people yet another excuse not to eat a healthy diet and it gets quite annoying. Of course if you star

In AU, my first year in my mechanical engineering degree was a complete waste of time. They call it a "common first year" where you do little bits of every type of engineering. It was a complete waste of time and money. In theory it sounds

The way I understood it was that the average life expectancy was low, due to the high rate of infant mortality. But the mode of the age data is up in the 60's-70's. I.e those who didn't die from infection, or being eaten alive actually live

Full disclosure. I am one of those "crazy people" who think grains and complex carbohydrates are killing us, and that a high fat diet, moderate protein, low carbohydrate is ideal. I really believe cancer IS a modern world disease, however m

Mining equipment is very fun and generally huge. What I am sure most people don't realise is the amount of safety is built into any design constructed (especially here in Australia). There are safety factors upon safety factors upon safety

I honestly would have paid $5-$10/month for Instapaper. It is by far the most used app I have on my iPhone. I wish Marco the best of luck, and can't wait to see what new features he comes up with.
