Yes and other things haven't been proven either... Its been shown by example, this distinction doesn't change the fact that money and productivity go hand in hand. Counter examples are counter examples and certainly they exist, bu

And still another step back to normality. Money speaks and as we get into 2022 we get back to normal in time for 2023... About 2 years too late but nothing needs essentiality than a good old economic depression.

Yeah have to agree there is always a vocal group of non devs who hate when they have to install a 3rd party compat library to run something from 10 years ago. To them this means it's broken when in reality this is bloat for the other 9

Seriously the title is like saying that x86 is the only processor for computing we need to embrase it... There are goods and bads to supporting the win32 abi/api with ALL of its quirks and bugs. But most of this (99%+) is trying to sup

About 2.5yr late for this I'm afraid, but very interesting reading. General rule of thumb from my experience though is that if the author is resorting to p values to justify their findings they're either a fool or an idiot, or bot

I'd be much more worried if it wasn't for one key piece of data 'MacOS' I'm not sure I trust the Xnu kernel-space to be reporting properly. That being said I think enough others said it, buy proper hardware if you d

Don't write code designed to burn CPU with numerical calculations. There is hyper optimisation and then there is the right tool for the job. The speed loss from doing mathS in an interpreter is huge and frankly usually not worth paying
