What does HW mean here? Handheld Wearable? Would that mean letting e.g. Sony PS5 devices allow homebrew markets to be used legally on their consoles? That would be awesome for the consumers.

I'm amazed at the creativity and the simple-ness of this solution. Working in public health myself, we've often designed systems that became un-usable due to requirements in the field that cannot be met (people not having laptops&

That's pretty interesting. Going off on a tangent here, but thinking of how most of the world ran Windows XP/Windows 7 on cracked versions, would it be possible that following the TPM requirement, someone would write a TPM emulato

There was an article a while back on Hacker News top list where the blog author explained, in actually very simple steps, how to launder it through services such as Tornado, to disjoin the trail of money. Pretty intelligent piece of work.

Thanks for the link. The video was pretty informative. I'm not from the US, had a different experience. We went from tape to CDs pretty quickly, and had some niche MDs market.

Immediately thought of Europa Universalis IV and all its expansions :-) However so much potential for abuse and misuses .. just think of all the border disputes currently countries are having and multiply those by all the years

You have to be careful of the wording when you're legally representing an entity. See all speeches by CEOs and Chairpeople that's 2 pages long but actually doesn't affirm or confirm anything. That, and being the Crown Prince

That feature you are speaking of, is already found on live cams websites I kind of agree with your sentiment on this and I believe it will end up, sooner or later, into what you described.

I don't remember exactly. I've been with them since early 2005s, and some time later there was a change back in the days on this. I used to pay them 5$/month with discount for a year. They're very good, I must've be

I agree that CLI is better than GUI But the examples given doesn't really convince me. Using Finder to move files from a folder to another takes less time than using the CLI, especially if the files you're moving doesn't have

Unrelated to the author's post, but for LetsEncrypt TXT records (to have wildcard SSLs), I've always set the TTL very low (in the 1-2 minutes or so range). This is because when I renew SSLs, I don't want to wait for DNS cachi
