Proof? I can prove it in video, screenshots, anything. The second I plug my iPhone into my laptop, which is synced to my iTunes account, the only option I have is to erase all of my music. I love how people on HN blatantly just say "un

Well, firstly, I believe Amazon music is DRM locked, the only way you can download it on an iPhone/iTouch is through their 'app', and you cant export it. Secondly, yah, that's true, if you only use one computer. If you

Well, I guess I think there are kind of two levels of nativity. Operating System native, i.e. uses API's from the OS directly. But then I think there's also hardware native, which means the IR that the code gets compiled into exec

The interpreter is native, but the code that runs on top of it isn't. In interpreted code, something like 'var i = 0;' could result in 100+ instructions, from the compilation/parsing of the script, to the actual running

Edit: In the context that they're using the word to mean "An Application Available in their Applications/ Folder," I really have no problem with that (as Pointed out in a response to this comment).

My definition of a native app excludes applications that are mere wrappers for 90% of the application code. If the majority of an application is written in JS/HTML/CSS, which I have no problem with, then don't call it native,

Native means code is compiled down to binary and run on the bare hardware. This project says it is explicitly run through the WebView, which is a HTML interpreter/renderer - by definition not native. Where did he said the App Store is

because there's nothing native about HTML/CSS/JS. EVER. It is by definition run through an interpreter, it even directly says "uses webview". So it's NOT native. Calling it native is a LIE. Edit: how about re

I'm sorry, but how are University/GPA/Courses not directly tied to median candidate merit? If you had someone in front of you who went to MIT and had a 4.0, and always took the most stringent professors for each course in the

So if I select a movie from netflix say, and then my phone rings while it's streaming to the chromecast, it won't interrupt the stream on the TV?

correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the chromecast require that you use another device to stream content to it? i.e. to play netflix, I have to stream the video from my phone or something to the device?

I would really love to submit this encryption method to the PCI auditors.... "uses encryption extensively". Edit: seriously? The first example is a shift cipher and a one time pad of all 'M'.
