How well does this work with whitespace? For example if I want to delete certain files in a directory: `rm $(ls *.foo | checkline)` the arguments for rm would need to be correctly whitespace escaped, right?

I assume this isn't meant too serious, but as far as I know cloud's do not necessarily block UV radiation. At least one can still get sunburned even on a cloudy day.

I guess one advantage could be to better use browser caches for these things? If you visit multiple websites that include the same fonts or javascript libraries, the browser can reuse the cache for them.

-b in checkout is short for "branch" while -c in switch is short for "create". IMO the UI of git switch is much more intuitive, since the argument is always a branch and the default behavior is to switch to an existing b

This isn't the way I'd sort ls output by date or whatever field. I'd use `ls -l --sort=date` which I guess is what the GP meant with having every tool do their own sorting by field. In nushell one can just do `ls | sort-by si
