Then why do they remove the results from their so-called organic search based on DMCA requests? I can also understand if the results are removed just from the USA based (google.com) site, but they are also removed from google.co.uk, google.

Well, if you query the state, you are bound to get quite a few unconfirmed number at any given time. But they EVENTUALLY do confirm, whether its 10, 15 or 30 minutes at most.
