trading is ok as long as the experience is convoluted and looks ugly? only people with a certain amount of wealth should be permitted to use aesthetically-pleasing interfaces? not sure what you're advocating for here.

My personal wet dream is that I can download any shady Photoshop torrent and Apple will block the ones that have trojans baked in. Given that Apple won't even open up their infrastructure to US law enforcement, I can't see them te

By this logic, HTTPS is "slow by design" and a nefarious plot by Big Certificate to siphon money away from tech companies.

having been bit by both reinventing the wheel and overly-relying on third party code, i find that my position on this varies from week to week.

Repeal the PAEA, pass a postal banking act, and fund the USPS with taxpayer dollars as is allowed by the Constitution. Seems like a no-brainer to me.

My assumption was that at least part of the reason for isolation measures is to prevent what happened with the Spanish Flu, where unfettered transmission created the conditions for a mutation that turned the U curve for mortality into a W c

Some of that could be due to versioning... Ansible's releases always have breaking changes, so you can get into trouble if your setup is vastly different from when the playbooks were created. I think this is part of the point of a dedi

I assumed that this was due to more products dropping vanity versioning in favor of semantic versioning. Is that not what's happening here?

I'm in the market for an SSG for documentation of a larger project (and therefore I'm looking for something quick and easy to maintain). Hoping to keep it within the JS ecosystem so that would rule out Hugo and Jeckyll. Is Next.js

Market prices are currently set based on 1-3x multipliers of Medicare reimbursement, so by definition the government already handles health care at lower costs. Commodifying health care has proven to be disastrous in the US because it'

No, multifactor authentication uses different forms of evidence (i.e., something you have, something you are, something you know), not just multiple accounts. Given password reuse, cookies, etc., e-mail is a terrible second factor.
