I think lots of people here have made excellent points about the UK etc., so I would like to add something else, which is the representation of gun usage in the media. Let's compare a show like Flashpoint with, say, NCIS Los Angeles.

What he means, but phases poorly, is to use compounds . On your other point, at least German is very specific with how compounds work grammatically, namely that they follow a head-right principle which defines genus and declination and whi

Have a look at this comment, especially: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=11504522 Essentially, this has nothing to do with "regarding separation of powers", since the law in question requires "und die Bu

I don't know what you are arguing here. A gun is a physical item, as is ammunition. You can stop somebody, search them, and find out if they have a gun and/or ammunition. You cannot do any such thing with encryption, as it is not

Exactly, because obviously 3d printed objects are not, in fact, physical objects that require physical ammunition and that can be treated like any other physical object, right? Right?!

Most of the German public broadcasters still use Flash (arte, ZDFMediathek, 3sat is one giant flash-blob etc.) The most infuriating one is NDR, because they allow you to switch between Flash and HTML5 video. However, if you don't have

A successful middleclass business does not equal billions or necessarily even millions, so I fail to see how the gp's comparison is off? What he is saying is that you are as likely to be the next Bill Gates as you are to be the next Mi

A BahnCard 25 gives you 25% off journeys, can be combined with saving offers and costs ~60€ per year. A BahnCard 50 gives you 50% off journeys but cannot be combined with savings. I think it costs ~200€ per year. A BahnCard 100 gives you 10

As an i3wm user, sometimes, but not always, after resuming from sleep, chrome puts context menues (and only context menues) on my other screen, so I wholeheartedly agree that Aura and multi-monitor (tiling?) setups have some issues.

If you compare local earnings to house prices, London is, in fact is only #2, behind Oxford.[1] The problem with Oxford and Cambridge (as well as a place like Reading) is that they are still within commutable distance from London (Oxford

The first thing to look at is probably the tutorial[1], followed by the wiki page about OSC[2], which is the command-line tool that interfaces with OBS itself. The Packaging Guidelines[3] provide additional information for specific use case

OBS is a fantastic service. As other comments have pointed out, you can build for other distributions as well, but as an openSUSE user, I use it for quite a bit. Some of the packages I would otherwise compile locally but that don't nee
