Not sure if there were ads the other 11 times this was submitted as Show HN. It's a nice little tool and I was planning to use it in production but does it really need a Show HN submission every 20 commits?

I'm German and I hate half assed i18n. Often the translation is done poorly, E.G. the word "open" has two different meanings when translated to German, depending on if it's used as a verb or adverb. I especially used to

How would I go to represent rectangles, circles, text and lines with CSS and JavaScript? With Canvas? Is React able to render to canvas? Sometimes SVG is a good fit for the graphics needed.

I have a story to tell and I was kind of the Mark in your story. Except my brother was on the other end of the story and he got it all wrong which turned in both of us not talking with each other for more than a year. It wasn't a good

While this is true, there are quite a few stories, where heroine users write about becoming clean with the use of cannabis. Just search https://www.reddit.com/r/trees and see for yourself if you doubt that. Also, if yo

I've been in your shoes earlier this year. Or maybe I didn't come even close. I just want to say, I felt like what you describe. Then I read an article about the microbiome of dirt [0]. In the moment I read this on my smartphone I

I'm sorry, I need a video showing me, what Ansible Tower actually does. I use Ansible in my day-to-day job (I'm a full stack dev learning how to do sysadmin stuff in scale). We use Ansible in a custom webapp to orchestrate bare me

In the Factors Demo, could you change the degree when you paint the next star? Maybe even change the degree between the factors the same as the first one. I think that might look a little nicer.

Oh, very nice. I earned my first money programming little games which looked like the coordinate one. I always dream about recreating something like this, but keep deferring it. I should kick myself in the butt and deliver.

Domino is one of the mathematical games, I play with my daughter. You have to make a chain of domino pieces which represent one of 28 possible combinations of two out of 0 to 6. She plays this very good. She is a little bit too young yet fo

I never used => but when JavaScript introduced the fat arrow and made it different from the fat arrow in CoffeeScript, this introduced a mental barrier for me. By definition, the JavaScript fat arrow is the important one to know.

I loved CoffeeScript, but I felt it was a double edged sword. I would still use it though, if there were JSX style xml/html tags. But React changed everything for me and as a full stack dev, I can use only few frameworks on one level.

You could argue that twitter bots don't do much damage. If you don't want to follow a bot, just don't follow them. They should be easily recognizable. People who did the auto-follow thing were screwed though.

Yeah, and it's the same for Reddit. They don't care for bots reposting content they stole from legitimate users, because it makes the site look good.
