You shouldn't be able to see it with Wireshark, given that it's HTTPS, but you should be able to MITM it (assuming you can make yourself a CA, that's trivial).

What's ironic (IMO) is that Google has pushed hard for this with Chrome's background updating, yet here is against it. I'm sure it's an inadvertent consequence, but it still seems strange.

The fact that the line contains "dev" twice is probably indicative of forgetting to disable it.

Indeed, I do exactly that: http://requests.ryanmccue.info/ I completely agree on cURL's design though. It's painfully obvious when working with the cURL bindings in PHP that it didn't have much thought put in to adapting it to PHP's const

Agreed on keyword args. I maintain Requests for PHP [1] which has a very similar API to Python Requests, and at the moment, you have to use an array as the options parameter. $options = ['timeout' => 0.5]; $r = Requests::get('

Indeed, it also affects http://httpbin.org/ which makes it way harder to test clients. Considering the spec has been out since 2010, you'd think they'd have fixed it by now.

By definition, GET, HEAD, PUT and DELETE are idempotent: http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec9.html I personally agree with the parent. PATCH should be idempotent; overwriting values with new values is idempotent and that sho

From what I gather from the Wikipedia page, it's due to the transmission cables being underwater and hence having a much larger capacitance, which is a larger loss than normal DC loss. (Correct me if I'm wrong on that.) So, while AC is stil

I'm the developer of Requests ( https://requests.ryanmccue.info/ ) which might be something for you to consider bundling with Opauth. There's a whole host of problems with using file_get_contents on various hosts, hence why cURL is so often

Wouldn't this be solved with a merge commit? If I can see where a commit merged in, I could prove that I didn't author it, as I don't have access to the other author's machine.

5.3 and 5.4 are a lot better, but I can't say I'd use them for long running daemons. Personally, I usually use Python daemons that spin up a PHP instance if they need.

I'm doing some work at the moment using Kinects. Obviously, the range and accuracy is much reduced, but for $100, it's not bad for the price. I'd expect that LIDARs can come down a lot in price once they stop being speciality equipment and

I've looked into using this before and couldn't work out why I'd want to use it over alternatives, or how it stored data. I think the new website is fantastic, as I now know all of this and more just from a quick glace. Great work.
