This would make a nice complement to xsv and csvkit but really needs to support python3. That is the main downside to using it.

This is interesting but I'm not sure about the name. It might attract the wrong kind of people. Is this intended to be a platform for hate speech?

They are great for teaching everything except coding, use them for that, the hidden state discussion is interesting and does come up frequently in practice, I think I learnt something from this presentation. they shouldn't be really us

Not citing sources is plagiarism, are you actually saying that it is the norm in computational linguistics to plagiarize? If so this is extremely worrying.

Exactly what I was thinking, given we are beginning to go dark (in terms of radio transmission) as well, perhaps SETI are looking at the wrong type of information transmission to detect our neighbours. A hypothetical alien civilization coul

I suggest you read Camerer's Behavioral Game Theory or even a book on Evolutionary Game Theory, the former does take psychology into account and the latter allows for learning. A standard game theory book also consider imperfect inform

Great idea, but none of the livestreaming coders I follow on Twitch are listed. Stephen Wolfram is a notable omission but there are some other great livestreams on Twtich creative.

Mostly, this is a failed research program and not at all the direction the social sciences are going. Economists at least will draw one lesson from physics and respond to econophysics, by following the "shut-up and calculate approach&q

If I understand your comment, correctly, then grading facility in Jupyter allows something like that I believe. My question related more to any symbolic/computer algebra capabilities Ximera may have, or does it just allow for interacti

Can you break this via the incognito mode? I have two gmail accounts one for work and one private, this is generally how I keep both open. Is this still going to be possible?

There are some R packages that allow for development of e-learning materials, these are Rmarkdown based so similar to knitr rather than sweave, but basically the same idea. The downside is the lack of symbolic support in R. Ximera does look

It depends a bit on what you want them to write code in. R Shiny has some built in e-learning functionality with interactive documents. At least two packages will let you-develop e-learning materials. If you use Python Jupyter notebooks hav

Yes, I know. there are ways around it though, even without VPN. What I was referring to was PRC pressuring foreign companies via the internet license mechanism, basically they have used targeted bandwidth throttling of foreign companies

You can basically use Jupyter as a frontend to Excel now anyway and never need to open Excel except to read and write to Excel files that you are sharing with Excel users.
