Malls (shopping centres here in Australia) are terrible experiences. I don't like shopping, but the general process for shopping at a such a place is: 1) Drive some distance to get there 2) Park in a cramped car park, where the size of

Not really. The revival for me was due to agadmator on youtube but obviously I only started seeing his videos once they were popular and I dont know the cause of that (other than the quality of the channel of course!) But Queens Gambit did

A 65yo still has on average 10 to 20 years to live. Further they are often grandparents and today's "two working parents" economy is built on thinga like unpaid childcare from many grandparents. Also they are people.

Yes, this is the point. For example, I want a phone where I can send faked GPS data to apps that request GPS permissions (and so on).

Great points. "Move fast and break things" is for new companies that don't have people relying on them. People who use this saying to keep moving forward should be aware of the fact that Facebook no longer use this ( ). I

For static pages, the "front-of-front-end" developer is broadly the "web designer" and does CSS most of the time. As JS sites get more complicated, those buttons need behaviour which is generally also that person's

When folding the washing, I don't make sure the t-shirts / pants / etc are the "right way out", reducing the already heavy burden on the folding server, and pushing that work onto the less heavily burdened clients.

Do you have a good resource for how web 3 would work? All I read is hyperbole and "could be"s but I am looking for actual concepts of how it would work. Any ideas?

Lots of new players that join up, drop their ELO points into the "bag" and then leave (or if online, sign up new accounts). ELO "points" aren't a finite resource.

There is no time limit in law. If its a physical good, it is expected that it degrades over time, so you can't take, say, your washing machine back after that period of time and demand your money back. Further, the law doesn't dic
