In Texas, you get alerts for anything the government wants to virtue-signal about. Silver for elderly, Blue for police, Amber for children, Clear for adults, and of course Camo for veterans. If a cop is shot anywhere in the 250,000+ square

This was a theme in early Futurama (before it just became another Simpsons). A great example from the pilot is the Star Trek doors that keep closing on Fry.

It's the opposite really! On Gleba, you are subsisting on an infinitely fertile river. On one end, the resources flow for ever and ever. On the other end, the resources burn for ever and ever. In the middle, you create whatever you wan

Take a look at `2313 NW Military Hwy # 100, San Antonio, TX 78231` This is an intersection I myself felt daunting my first few years driving. It is within Waymo's San Antonio coverage, and they seem to be handling that just fine. Howev

I have a Synology NAS I can push docker images to. The key is to set up the docker image so it does a git pull on start, that way I just push to Github and restart it. This was _incredibly_ hard to set up, in a way I did not expect, even wi

Well yeah, I agree, collective action would be actually collective. I'm not gonna try to prescribe something like taxes or infrastructure changes, but stuff like that. You're just describing individual action, which like you said,

There are people who recognize there is a problem and would support collective action to fix it, and there are those that don't. As long as you are in the first group, there's nothing else you can individually do to make a differe

I appreciate San Antonio being included, but you may want to shift your exact target a bit to be more accurate. Probably over to Fort Sam Houston, but I'm no expert. Right now it looks like they just really hate the Deco District. htt

The Zohran model is to not pretend to be someone different, and exclusively focus on what you believe the core problem to be with a few clearly definable solutions (and no slogans).

Even before you get to the lacking Admin UI, the first thing Rails asks me to do is implement authentication. Coming from a true batteries-included framework like Django that feels like a complete non-starter.
