Yep. I do this a lot. It occasionally doesn't work (eg: some sites don't think + is valid). To be fair, I don't think it's made a huge difference in my life. In fact it's possibly been more of a negative than a posi

FWIW, I think the problems you list are 100% valid. I still generally think people should be allowed to choose how their life ends. I also think that, as a society, we should be trying to fix the problems you list so they become of least co

I've wondered about this for my hypothetical future self. Currently? I'd say that I wouldn't want to live with dementia, but what if my "demented self" (kinda hate the phrasing, sorry) in the future wants to live, o

I don't particularly like this wording but can't seem to come up with another one right now: I think it's okay for us to try and avoid the irreversible mistake, but yes, it's very arguable that living years you didn'

I don't necessarily agree with this take but I'd say it's probably because we're only willing to let people who are close to death "make a mistake." Eg maybe a 16 year old who wants to end their otherwise healt

I care about my vertical white space (eg: grouping some things together gives me some logical separation). I don't care about horizontal white space. That should just properly get indented and spaced into a consistent block format.

100% agree. Autoformatting is such a great feedback mechanism. Did this not indent where I expected? Did it not change the formatting? Do I use it as a crutch? Maybe. Would I be a better programmer if I didn't use it? I doubt it.

As a separate reply, I'll add that I think finding where/if this breaks is pretty academic. Eg: you wouldn't build a glider out of heavy material that gives you huge speeds but also huge sink rates. So I think the entire glid
