Vue took a hit because of issues with v2 to v3 migration. But situation is improving. With v2.7 beta just released and major ecosystem libraries and frameworks (vuetify and nuxt) catching up. Then, there is a community effect. We all know v

Manager is higher in hierarchy, so manager stays. Contrary to naive belief, company is not fair and unbiased institution. OP should have left the team at first opportunity.

I have been on the other side of this, and the only reason I was not fired like OP, was because I was an FTE, instead of contractor. OP’s advice is 100% on the mark. Hiring manager is the face of company. And you won’t see anyone higher if

I also want whatever you are smoking. The manager didn’t realise that he was being a burden, refused to listen to his team and his team members. And then, instead of resolving things peacefully, slandered his report to others, so OP’s contr

Isn't it a good thing? Like if the ads are 5-6 seconds. Then they are certainly in right direction. If they were trying "skiping not allowed in 60+ sec long ads", then it would be bad

Nope, it is called “stupid”. If significant paying customers (>10k) are using a feature, then it should not be removed. If feature is a power or accessibility feature, then it should not be removed even if it is not used anywhere.

Nice idea. Few suggestions: 1. Do not count words absent in word list, like original wordle. 2. Put a limit to guesses.

One time I hit this issue was in calculating future time. When the future time does not exist (cause it was skipped), it caused app to fail and require manual cleaning of data.

for simple cases, you can use alpine.js, petite-vue etc. However, if you are considering "routing", then it is no longer a "little bit".

I mean side effects from a functional point of view. Let me explain in more details React’s philosophy is View = F(data) I.e. view is a pure function of data. By “pure”, we mean F() does not do console.log, ajax calls, date time and other s

Because there are a lot many js devs than others. Hence js ecosystem is significantly larger.

The thing is that While react is against side effects, javascript is not. Which result in these impedance mismatch where what devs want is against react itself. Vue/svelte/solid do not fight against js, hence they do not end up in

I hate the text editor. Sometimes, it just doesn’t work, so I don’t rely on it for advanced WYSIWYG features. Worst of all, it will open all links in edge, unless you configure Edge to Not do it. WTF? Why is this even possible?
