This sounds like a workable solution. Github adds a feature, apache opens to github. Compromise?

Thanks, updated it to say Apache in the first sentence.

Specifically the problem is uploading text patches to JIRA, as compared to doing pull requests on github.

git would be enough. Committers could use whatever they want to merge. Most people would choose github. But git is GPL, not Apache. Thus the problem...

This is an important event in the democratization of venture funding. Y Combinator and other incubators are making startup funding as efficient as a traditional bank loan. Kickstarter funding products is another step forward.

This is NOT controversial. You give them permission to do this. If you don't want Path to import your address book, then don't ask Path to import your address book.

Even on non-boot drives, ZFS can be a real boon. I used it for a 1U appliance on a solaris machine on two disks, and it saved me the cost of a RAID card.

My team of 8 eminent scientists are going to caffeinate tomatoes. We calculate, that among the YC classes alone, there is a $1 million market for tomatoes and a $5 million market for caffeine. We're going to be crazy profitable.

One area I would encourage startups to get involved with is hollywood analytics: predicting the revenue of films based on their properties. Ryan Cavanaugh has revolutionized film funding, and there is a real opportunity for analytics start

On the one hand, this constitutes a weapon of mass destruction and should never be created by civilians in a lab. On the other... if it is this easy to do, so that two virology teams can do it... then it needs to be done, somewhere. Is ope
