So far this year they've discontinued Paper (app), Passwords, Send and Track, Vault and Capture. Incredibly, Vault was discontinued by automatically turning PIN-protected folders into regular unprotected ones! Would be stupid to rely o

It didn't properly come out until 2008, so until then I suppose schoolchildren could have easily used the machines! Unimaginable in most countries.

Those vending machines are supposed to check ID but I've never seen one do (I think cigarette machines do). They just turn off at night and apparently that's enough to stop children from using them.

There are plenty of unmanned frozen food shops (gyoza etc.) with one CCTV. On the rare occasion that someone steals food, it is taken seriously and investigated. People have been arrested here for grabbing a medium combini coffee cup and us

So far it's about as subtle as a slap to the face. If you set ChatGPT's personality to 'straight-shooting' it starts every answer with "blunt", "tell it like it is" or "unvarnished" and perm

ChatGPT is already returning lists of products (with photos and rating) saying they are impartial, I guess to collect affiliate fees. It's not a big jump to have sponsored products showing up first.

I think it is intentional. They don't want to attract low-commitment beginners while the language is heavily changing (and explicitly in beta). Such people will ask questions and ask for documentation but contribute nothing.

Poetically GPT-1 was the more compelling answer for every question. Just more enjoyable and stimulating to read. Far more enjoyable than the GPT-4/5 wall of bulletpoints, anyway.
