I got a yoga x1 with the i7-1370P. Very strong cpu, great memory, turns into a tablet, very lightweight, no dedicated nvidia GPU, great battery life.

T-Mobile home internet is my only option for internet in my area. Starlink just launched, but I can't get it due to the topology of our location. Or, well, that's not entirely true. I could spend tens of thousands of dollars

Well, it is dangerous. In classic right wing fashion, it starts off talking about economic elites, but pretty quickly starts running off into welfare abusers and people who don't know how to properly feed themselves using benefits, as

This is probably propaganda, but it's also a management self-own. Either most of your people are so shitty they're indistinguishable from someone working 1hr/day and thus you suck at hiring, or you're so incompetent tha

This seems like a non-sequitur. Can you please just speak plainly instead of having me try to interpret your vagueposting?

Yes and we fixed the problem by passing the ADA and ensuring that people get reasonable accommodations. We didn't build wheelchair only apartment buildings.

Do you think the folks in wheelchairs should be accommodated? Yes. But I don't think you should be able to build an apartment building and then explicitly ban non wheelchair users. It's a two way street.

Probably not difficult for these competitor organizations to fund an OpenTF team to hire some of these people away from HashiCorp and continue it on as FOSS either. I can't imagine Liam turning down .5M/year to do so.

I mean, that is kind of the end game of all of this, isn't it? Crank up the prices, rent seek, get your bag, destroy the underlying product in pursuit of personal enrichment. Higher education seems to be lagging the vulture capitalism

Yeah, we gave it a shot, but really couldn't figure out where it provided any value over just running plan with an out file and apply with approvals in our normal CI/CD infra.

I doubt it. I think more likely it will actually have people being more choosey in their dependencies and looking at the governance structures of projects so that one guy can't go off the rails and create hundreds of hours of unplanned

This is the kind of OG way to do it even before we had patterns. There are a couple of problems with it, least of which is that I can't then use one or both of those in a wider union elsewhere, because their definitions are bound to t

The fact that they've added all of this great stuff and have STILL not added real discriminated unions is a damn travesty. It would just so drastically improve the language.

We haven't made drugs legal. We've just stopped locking people up for doing them. It's a very different thing. I'm still 100% for full legalization. Decriminalization just causes what we're currently seeing.

Not quite sure quite what you're asking. But I think, yes it affects it, we can't hire people outside of the US and given we got no candidates we could feasibly employ, it doesn't make sense to continue posting.
