When you say naively formed, what does that mean exactly? A lot of your post was dedicated to correcting DHH's TDD history. I appreciate the hard work and attention to detail but I don't actually think when the idea of ultra-fast

My guess is that walking around a city or a forest is more helpful to creativity because of the gradual change in environment. And there is a lot of evidence environment has significant effects on thinking and behavior. Other studies have f

I agree the landing page is confusing though I believe it's called waffle.io because kanban cards create a grid pattern & waffles also have a grid pattern.

Well put until you got to Spiegel. He made something a lot of people value, and I have been impressed with his public comments. That said the comparison to college admissions is incredibly apt.

Even with pot being illegal a lot of my friends started smoking in their early teens. You can't solve that with regulation (and I'm not a hacker libertarian, I think some issues should be addressed with regulation).

Well put. Also the advice he's offering doesn't even seem to be that self serving. The takeaway is be wary about getting to a point in a VC-deal where you have no leverage and the other party may still change the terms. That'

I don't think I said anything like that. All I said is there is a culture that embraces the sort of risky investment that VCs make & that hedge funds are comparable investments. Let's take a reasonable definition of a bubble:
