They have been working on and off an official Mod API for a while. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/2012-02-29-mojang-hires-bu... But this has nothing to do with monetizing servers, which is the point of the post.

You were never allowed to sell them in the first place. This part of the EULA was being ignored so Notch clarified.

Upload and Share tend to be the same thing for most users. You want this on that . I don't think it's coincidence that the share icon looks like an upload icon in iOS7.

They either have to bring SIMB to every language or to none at all? They want to improve web application performance. JavaScript is the only language that works on the web. So they are bringing it to JavaScript. That doesn't mean they

What about the people who sit outside with a case of beer in a cooler with ice? Instead of buying a couple bags of ice a month, they use this instead. Now is it a good idea?

Have you written a program that can do this? These people put a lot of hard work into something people find interesting. I'm glad this is on hacker news because I'm interested in how these games were written and developed.

I know it sounds weird, but sometimes I have more than one thing on my computer at a time! And some of those things have audio. So it's nice to control the volume of a specific thing, like a video, without having to change the audio fo

If you never saw your reflection before, then suddenly someone places a mirror in front of you. It would probably take a few minutes for you to realize that it's you in the mirror and not another human.

my emacs does have colors. It's M-x shell that doesn't have colors. And this goes to the point of why emacs users like myself use iTerm. Because it works . The only thing I had to setup in iTerm was my color scheme. And even that
