No, it's just load management. They run a full matrix home server for all their users and a bunch of bridges.

I'm not sure I understand. Your relatives can remember to buy Apple but not Samsung? Also, Samsung offers lower end phones with lesser but still good update policies. They're good phones but a lot cheaper than any iPhone, which sh

Note that there are tools to restore the win10 taskbar in 11. I use startisback, but there are more. Also be sure to use a privacy tweaker!

Please excuse me while I become 'that guy', but Proton is a distribution of Wine with a bunch of patches and extra components like DXVK. The vast majority of proton is unmodified wine.

Valve offers a generous refund policy. If the game doesn't work on your system, refund it.

Okay, so perhaps 'all' was a little optimistic. Spark is the old government monopoly, once called 'Telecom'. As such, they have inherited a huge base of users who don't pay any attention to which ISP they are using,

That may be true where you live, but down here in NZ, unlimited means unlimited (on fibre). Our competitive ISP market means that all major ISPs have completely ditched their fair usage policies. I regularly use well over 10TB a month and h

Presumably because, as the addon name suggests, it is a 'lite' blocker. Declarative network blocking is much more efficient than script injections, so that is used exclusively. If you want cosmetic filtering, the original uBO is a

This new addon can't do any cosmetic filtering. It doesn't run any code on the page, only declares filters for network requests.

Only on legacy IP. We're trying to kill it. A bit of pain will be necessary to finally get modern IP across the line of mainstream usage.

Revanced is just an app with no special permission. It's not a firmware. It's open source. It can only patch an apk which you provide to it with standard android file-picker APIs.

Tailscale internally tries to punch NATs to make connections, but if it fails, it will use relay servers. These connections are throttled, and there'd probably be usage limits at some point. If you allow tailscale through by using ipv6
