Meta wants the models to be cheap and available because their strength is the context data and platform control.

When allocating engineering spend you need to predict impact. If you know how features of GitHub CLI are used and how you can do this more easily.

Interesting - I had not looked deep into this before. Is suppose the difference is RDS has high 9s, whereas in the Litestream case the frequency of crashes is tied to your application code and deployment process. In practice this will take

There are also atomic references when mutability is the best approach. This is forcing single writer but in the API rather than as a proof.

Yes but there is still a (small) window where confirmed writes can be lost

Please can you link to the relevant guarantees? I did read the documentation just today so clearly misunderstood something!

My understanding is litestream can lose data if a crash occurs before the backup replication to object storage. This makes it an unfair comparison to a Postgres in RDS for example?

A well designed system shouldn’t drop orders? If you perform at least once processing then use Stripe idempotency keys you avoid such issues?

Congrats to the team! Is there a video showing someone spinning this up and finding a bug in a simple app? A broken counter app maybe?

Ultimately you need staging, yes. But you can’t have every dev tweaking staging at the same time as they work. How can you debug things when the ground is shifting beneath you? Ideally every dev has their own AWS account to play with, but t

With MonoGame you are supposed to use an editor for creating assets that you then load into the engine built by MonoGame. Or you build your own editor using MonoGame. MonoGame is quite different from editor-centric system like Unity and not

Yep. MonoGame is closer to RayLib than Godot. In fact RayLib has C# bindings so worth considering these two.

FNA is for porting /supporting XNA games with minimal changes. MonoGame is trying to evolve XNA in small ways. For a new project I would pick MonoGame.
