For Python, at least, the most popular numeric computation library (NumPy) uses a fair bit of Fortran under the hood. I'm not certain whether the matrix operations do, but it certainly wouldn't surprise me.

Anecdotally, I've heard from a number of people that catering is one of the larger profit centers for restaurants that do it, with the dine-in service acting almost like a marketing tool, or sometimes even a loss leader.

I'm not sure the number is constant. I think it scales with either the age or the prominence of the comment. I've seen threads where I was unable to downvote top tier comments, even though I could downvote their children.

It has a separate etymology, but pronunciation seems to have been altered by the fruit/color into its modern form. The color was adopted later on after the two terms merged.

The last (and so far only) time I was called for jury duty, the judge's instructions were very explicit that the word of a police officer was to be given no special weight compared to other witnesses. Jurors were questioned about this
