Been using Ryzen + Nvidia on KDA plasma for the past few months and it works quite good; generally, it works better on X.org, tough Wayland isn't that far behind either.

If you're talking about the file picker or desktop environment related defaults, you can just go to about:config and set "widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal" to true and/or "widget.use-xdg-desktop-portal.file-picker"

CSS has come a long way, I would expect that these things would be ease to achieve with just CSS and HTML, for instance: media viewer -> dialog (I remember this being a HTML thing), collapsing sections -> details/summary (?) But

Yeah, hybrid laptops with Nvidia is still a no no. Currently I have setup: Arch (EndeavourOS) + KDE Plasma + Xorg, works with minor issues, with a Rog Zephyrus G15, with minor issues; it was/is enough to replace Windows entirely. I
