I think time savings is the wrong way to think about this. I also don't think people are in the habit of ordering things as soon as they need them. I suspect the item goes onto a list (physical or not), which then has to be processed.

Simulators seem to be in the Oculus' wheel house at the moment. It's a coveted item in the iRacing community and I would imagine flight sims are the same.

I partially agree, but if you're going to be hosting your own server you should be considering the front end features, as well as making sure whoever is going to be maintaining the server it lives on won't want to pull their hair
