   We can still pre-order at a little discount, until 31 Jan. I'd love to see the business actuals for this device. Apple charges this level or more for theirs, with have the world's largest economy of scale. Purism is tiny by any me

   Maybe it means that they are coming up with something else new? It's their right to stop producing something or kill ("sunset") whatever product, but it doesn't make it any less crappy.

   The problem is people. To put it charitably, not everyone is "technical" enough to figure out how to own their own data, so I think silos and walled gardens are here to stay, because they are quick and easy for people. I for one,

   My PFU HHKB external 'board has an Esc key, and there's usually a way to map things anyway. Not sure what the fuss is about.
