> It's a matter of fairness. Riskier jobs should have higher salaries. Interesting argument which I doubt anyone here agrees with. After all, that would mean builders, miners, street sweepers and the like would be paid the highest,

I wonder how often these long distance couples have met up and one or both of them has realised they are not actually attracted to the other. It must happen sometimes. I'm surprised it doesn't happen most of the time. It says some

Not reliable at all. It is reliable for freshness, but that only matters for some things like poached eggs.

Most of it is just straight up assembly. I don't think there's much inline assembly because that's hard to maintain for multiple platforms. Rich Tea is a British biscuit. Maybe that's why you remember it?

Except when they imply that it's "not having a life".

It changed when people realised the truth that was being revealed was the wrong truth. People remembered that huge swathes of society are built on lies and deceit and they aren't prepared to do better.

They are serious tools for professionals and you have to learn how to use them. I don't know why people think they should be able to use things without training these days. Once you know what you're doing, the toolchains are solid

How could you bring up such a quotation here? What's the "temporary safety"? Not ruining innocent people's lives? I don't get it.

Yeah, some people lack imagination. I used to make electronic music. I lack imagination. I wasn't good at it. But I had fun doing it nonetheless.

What I've wanted for a while now is to be able to run a single jupyter server but have many kernels running inside different containers. It's possible to have the kernels in different virtualenvs. I wonder if I could achieve that

Just want to add that GMP is not "C". The critical parts are written in assembly. It's not really possible to do fast multiple-precision arithmetic in C. You need direct access to add with carry instructions and the like.
