Kinda similar to how Kobe Bryant knew it's time to retire from the game of basketball. He said in an interview ( https://youtu.be/Ya8hY0S-8t0?t=54 ) that he knew it's time when during his morning meditations, his mi

Keyword is scale , specifically massive scale. If your scope is just a couple of (web)servers, then, yeah, you can stick with your tried-and-tested tools and processes. But once you start managing 10s or 100s of servers, including a requir

Similar thing in the Philippines. A common scenario is someone will invite another to an event, and the answer is "maybe" instead of directly saying yes or no. This also irritated me before until someone gave me a possible explana

Maybe it’s a reference to one of their songs? Not really familiar with NOFX (aside from them being the favourite band of some of my favourite bands), but maybe they have a song about jobs or having a job.

You’d be surprised how the human mind and body automatically reacts to extreme situations that we cannot fathom while sitting comfortably on our chairs. :-)

That component of "hanging on for dear life" with deadlifts hits a little bit differently than squats...

Appreciate the offer! I'm actually just lifting for health right now, so most of my goals are to "lift heavier than last week" XD My only specific goal right now is to do more than one slow and proper pull-up. That DL PR, by
