I'm not saying you can't build larger applications using Backbone, I'm just saying the journey to completing one and then maintaining it will be harder. Large javascript application used to bw written without any frameworks but I'm not brin

there are better frameworks out there for larger projects definitely - but event driven is the best way for larger projects.

Reading this just makes me scared of Backbone for larger projects. Things like having to keep changes to models silent just because a view isn't ready? Backbone is all good and well for small projects, but I think it's be best to look elsew

A lot of people are finding out that views are the hardest thing to do - especially with Backbone. The problem is that views are tightly coupled to the model so it's hard to build them up. I just wrote http://modernjavascript.blogspot.com/
