I do think its more likely the tag fell off than the airline is lying as a matter of standard operating procedure. I can't exclude the possibility, but I don't think it's as likely.

Because it costs hundreds of billions of dollars. Look how much California spent on a non-functional, slow, version to nowhere. You'd be much better off spending that money on local commuter rail, which is more or less a prerequisite f

The station that is 5 min near me is like a 30 minute subway ride (plus 0-20 minute wait) to Union Station in DC. Then I'd have to switch to Acela (with some wait time probably 30 minutes for a safety buffer). And my house is too expen

If the bag had a readable tag and the database wasn't wrong, then it wouldn't be unclaimed, presumably. Not for certain of course, but you gotta imagine the most common error is that the bag lost its tag and now its impossible to

The sweet spot for HSP in North America is pretty small. The vast majority of people who could a ride afford already have a vehicle. And the vast majority of people don't live particularly close to a central rail station. So even thoug

And copyright law deals with the difference between inspiration and copying. To vastly oversimply it, it depends how close the original is to alleged copy. No reason you can't apply that framework to AI. Where AI might get into more tr

Their intelligence officers must have known. They lived here as diplomats and free access to just travel around. Maybe people like Yeltsin didn't believe them or the KGB was afraid to tell people, but they should have known.

HBO Max isn’t HBO—it’s HBO plus other Warner bros stuff. Velma was made by the non-HBO side.

Americans don't consider Portuguese from Portugal to be non-white. Nobody calls Devin Nunes a POC, for example. They consider Brazilians to be people of color even if they are pureblood Portuguese, which is absurd. But that's how

That's exactly what I said. 300 cals indefinitely. I obviously didn't mean you eat one slice of pizza and gain 50lbs. It's easy to say "put down the pizza," but pizza is just an example. 300 calories is also 1/

The amount of calories to add an extra 50 lbs isn't that crazy. It's around 300 calories a day. So more like 1 *slice* of pizza extra. That is why weight loss is hard to achieve. If you are hungry, it's hard to--over an entir

Customized personal pronouns are just another name. They lose all value if they are high customizable. I get why people don't want to misgendered. But making up a new pronoun comes across as aggressive attention seeking.

The biggest flaw is that every election would have at least one party, if not both, pushing for increasing the base income regardless of whether or not it makes sense.
