Pretty impressive —- Parallels supports some sort of GPU pass through on ARM already?

Is parallels running the ARM windows preview emulating 64 bit X86 fast enough for anything practical? Can I play ten year old games?

I’m amazed how a large portion of the Internet can hold two diametrically opposed ideas in their heads like this as the same time. Really bodes well for the next decade. “You still have freedom of speech, but can only talk about subjects I

I hope they finally fully implement/hide most of the old era Windows UI elements. Biggest one I still use to this day is the control panel.

Three months off is not a “few weeks”. Good lord. What school district are you referencing where teachers are forced to work every day during the summer? Yes, they don’t get paid for not working, but can usually have their employer stretch

Does wanting one’s own country to focus on its citizens first make one a xenophobe?

Not wanting to be in the EU makes you a racist how exactly? Are we using the word “racist” in the same way as it was applied in the last four years in America?

You can buy commercial OLED displays for a lot more. Considering there really aren’t any mass produced OLED computer monitors yet, this is a rather limited market. The LG OLEDs run Linux and have been rooted in the past with public CVEs

Really neat. Is there anything cheap like this that will do simple base conversion -- i.e. hex to base 10 and so on?

Unless litigating students is something your startup is interested in, I’d recommend ignoring that line of thinking and just hiring a good pen tester for a few months.

Nothing in that link seems to indicate it was “extremely bad”. Just seems like your typical not enough pork/special interest support red team versus blue team nonsense. OSHA regulations and “census worker relief” need to be tied into t

How effective would the Swiss military really be? I looked up the last military operation they were in and couldn’t find anything relevant. Looks like they do extraordinary light peacekeeping and such. (Yes, yes, they’re “neutral”. Suppose

Would love a citation on this one. Forcing above average American students into cram schools to memorize leetcode problems would probably help make Americans “the best candidates” for the whiteboard merry-go-round, but I have a strange feel

Interesting that the bounty program is only mentioned in the text screenshot and not the article. While it’s unfortunate that this happened, randomly pen-testing a bank then presumably asking for money is not something I would advise.

I found a few anecdotes on reddit about how a user had “withdrawals”. I’ve used bottles of the stuff, have randomly run out and not re-ordered for months/years, and never noticed any withdrawal symptoms. If you have any studies, I’d be

Yes, the early 90s, back before HFT, was an objectively terrible time. I shudder to think of having to live through them again. Imaging having to pay $5 for a stock trade instead of $0. Life changing.
